Native American Education Circles
Phillips Ranch Includes Native American Counseling
Native American Education Circles at Phillips Ranch integrate traditional Indigenous practices with modern therapeutic approaches to create a deeply holistic and culturally respectful healing experience. Rooted in the teachings of the Seven Gifts of the Grandfathers—Respect, Honesty, Courage, Generosity, Humility, Wisdom, and Love—this approach emphasizes healing from the inside out, addressing the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical aspects of well-being.
Educational experiences often incorporate meaningful ceremonies such as healing circles, as well as “throw-away” and burning ceremonies. These practices foster a connection to ancestral wisdom and the natural world, helping clients reconnect with themselves and their heritage.
Clients are also guided through the teachings of the Medicine Wheel, which provide a powerful framework for self-reflection,balance, and personal growth. Through this process, individuals are encouragedto explore their identities, honor their life experiences, and cultivate adeeper sense of purpose and belonging.
Featuring Living Historian Graywolf, a Cheyenne Elder and educator, these educational experiences offer a unique and transformative path to healing. By honoring tradition while integrating evidence-based therapeutic practices, Phillips Ranch supports clients on their journey toward self-awareness, inner peace, and holistic wellness.
